Welcome to Music Performance
Why choose this course?
BTEC Music Performance is intended for students, who would like to study Music further but with more of a practical focus than the A Level. The key difference between a BTEC in Music Performance and an A Level in Music is that the BTEC focuses on the practical application of your skills to real-world examples from the Music Industry. As part of the course you will continue to develop your performance and composition skills, as well as developing a deeper understanding of music theory and notation. Students are expected to work well independently on set tasks and research projects as this course
aims to develop independence and resilience, preparing you for further study or work in the Music Industry.
